Book Character Festival

November 20

We are so excited to share the changes we have made to the annual Mustang Valley Book Character Parade. This year, students wishing to dress up will read from their books. Reading aloud and in character, will help our students gain confidence in reading with expression as well as increase their fluency. Children may read alone, with parents or fellow classmates. The festival will take place on November 20. Students will be scheduled a time and place to perform depending on the nature of their book

All costume preparation must occur at home unless other arrangements are made with the teacher.

Character and book forms must be turned in by November 13 so that we may schedule and make everyone aware of performance times. Schedules will be sent home Friday, November 16th
